Jerseys NFL Wholesale ” she said

– after airing concerns affecting teachersAfter raising concerns earlier this week of a number of issues affecting teachers in the public education system,Wholesale Authentic NFL Jerseys, the Guyana Teachers’ Union (GTU) was yesterday able to secure an audience with President David Granger.According to a statement out of the Ministry of the Presidency, the Head of State met with members of the GTU to discuss issues ranging from the multi-year agreement that the Union has had with the Government since 2011 to the controversial de-bunching issue. The meeting was held at the Ministry of the Presidency. In a brief comment after the meeting, President of the GTU, Mark Lyte, said that the Union is hoping to sort this matter out with the new Administration so that it can provide its membership with much-needed clarity. The existing multi-year agreement is slated to end next month. In 2011,NFL Jerseys Outlet, the Union successfully negotiated a multi-year remuneration package for teachers, inclusive of a five percent annual across-the-board increase,Cheap Authentic Jerseys, as well as other non-salary benefits. But Lyte related that one of the major concerns of the Union is the de-bunching of payments,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, which would ensure that teachers are paid based on their qualifications and years of experience. At a press conference on Tuesday Lyte had pronounced on the de-bunching issue insisting that “teachers are so agitated about this (non-)payment that it can lead to the resumption of industrial action.”The GTU had initiated the work-to-rule form of industrial action earlier this year, but had halted the process given the change of Government following the May 11 national and regional elections. The GTU President informed that while talks have been had with the new government on the issue of de-bunching payments, they have been “revolving” from one person to another.Lyte further disclosed that even after several previous meetings with the Ministry of the Presidency, the Union was told that the matter must be dealt with by Cabinet for a pronouncement to be made in relation to the issuance of de-bunching payments. He related too that “on Tuesday the union received a correspondence which now points the matter back to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education,Jerseys NFL Wholesale, so GTU is worried that this matter seems to be revolving.”According to Lyte, the Union had even collaborated with Government to calculate how teachers are to benefit from the de-bunching funds a long time ago. As such, he noted that the Union was concerned as to why a definite pronouncement has not yet been made as to when teachers who serve the nation diligently cannot be granted their long overdue money.Despite the setbacks which the union has faced, Lyte made the commitment Tuesday to ensure that all teachers are paid the de-bunching monies owed to them.“It shouldn’t be about if we are paid, it should be about when we are paid,” he asserted.GTU member Samantha Alleyne, also commented on the Union’s plans to engage industrial action if a suitable agreement is not met soon.“We had suspended our industrial actions in May of this year,” she said, “and if they continue on this line, we will be resuming our industrial action and teachers will back us, 100 percent.”And should industrial action be engaged, the Union members warned that it will continue until favourable answers are forthcoming.According to Lyte, the GTU has for too long been embracing dialogue, but “our patience is running out.”“We can’t be talking with different people on every occasion and when we seem to be approaching an agreement we are forwarded to another group of people to commence talks again. Every time we have to speak to another group of people we have to re-submit all the documents…talks are not bearing any fruit. We didn’t want to go that route,Wholesale NBA Jerseys, but these things are not being realized, so maybe in the Guyana culture we would have to take other forms of action,” Lyte noted.
